[2-Session] Mastering Tough Conversations

The 2-Session VitalTalk Mastering Tough Conversations course includes two live Zoom sessions designed to build your core communication skills for values-based goals of care conversations with patients and families.

Mastering Tough Conversations courses generally run 9:00AM – 1:00PM PT or 1:00PM – 5:00PM PT. Select the session you are interested in to see the exact times.

Session 2: Goals of Care

Each session combines self-paced online modules introducing VitalTalk’s signature talking maps with live, facilitator-led practice using simulated patients. You’ll learn in a supportive peer community through interactive exercises, role play, and real-time feedback—leaving with practical, evidence-based tools to guide serious conversations with clarity and compassion.
