COURSE DETAILS
This online course is designed for nurses who want to strengthen communication when discussing clinical status with patients and families. Using realistic clinical scenarios, learners will build skills in assessing understanding, restating clinical information clearly, and responding to emotion. In this course, you will learn three communication skills that can help you navigate these conversations with clarity and empathy. Through videos, examples, and interactive learning activities, you will explore practical strategies you can immediately use in your clinical practice.
AI-Supported Practice
Learning communication skills takes more than understanding the concepts. It requires practice. After completing the course, you will have the opportunity to practice the communication skills you learned in an AI-supported simulated conversation with a family member. These practice experiences are designed to reinforce learning, build confidence, and prepare you to use the skills in conversations with patients and families.
